Over the past two decades, the nation has successfully doubled its maize production, an achievement attributed to expanded cultivation areas and increased productivity.

In the latest season, Zambia exported 60,000 tons of maize, with the Democratic Republic of Congo securing over 6,000 tons and Rwanda receiving 4,000 tons.
